I am so Luckey....because of you dear....!

This is a beautiful story ....

It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80s arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He said he was in a hurry because he had an appointment at 9:00.
I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be more than an hour before anyone could see it. I saw him looking at his watch and decided since it was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. Upon examination, I found it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors and got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.
While the care of his wound, I asked if he had an appointment with another doctor this morning, as he was so fast. The gentleman told me no, I had to go to the nursing home for breakfast with his wife.
I asked about his health. He said he had been there for a while! Since she is a victim of Alzheimer's disease.
As we talked, I asked if she be upset if he was a little late. He replied that he did not know who she was, she had not recognized him in five years.
I was surprised and asked: "And you still go every morning, although she does not know who you are?"
He smiled as he patted my hand and said: "She does not know me but I still know who he is." I had tears coming out, I had goosebumps on her arm and thought,
"That's the kind of love I want in my life. True love is neither physical nor romantic."
True love is an acceptance of everything that has been, is and will not be.
Peace is seeing a sunset and knowing who to thank. The happiest people do not always have the best of all, just to make the best of everything they have.
I hope to share this with someone you care about, I just do .. Life is not about how to survive the storm, but dancing in the rain.
The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, caps called friends, red lights called enemies, caution lights call family. You will have flats called jobs.
But if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called God Almighty, you will to a place called success.
